Trenchless Sewer Pipe LiningA sewer pipe lining need careful installation. The installation process of installing it in a drain connecting the building to a public sewer and that of connecting drain pipe to a private septic tank is same. The sewer liner becomes complicated or easy depending on the material of the pipe. Hard becomes hard to handle their installation. That is why they require an additional labor and equipments. The following are the steps that are undertaken when using a sewer lining equipment:

Before the installation process, the contractors need to conduct a dye test and live before the commencement of the sewer lining.

The exact location and the number of the service connections or the side sewers needs to be verified

The contractors need to accurately field and locate the existing service connections

All the service connections that are done by the remote controlled cutting device needs to be directed by the TV camera or through the internal manual cutting.

Digging and preparing the installation of the sewer line

The grass is cut in 3 sections. One needs to leave 2 inches

Digging 5-6 feet until you expose the surrounding area where the lower and upper lateral are connected by a drain fit

In this process a 2 pass process of utilizing the cutter to open the lateral forward, by a wire brush attachment can help in completing the cutting flush effectively

The two inverters need to be perfectly aligned i.e. inverter by inverter

Separate the pipes by a cutting tool on the lower lateral.

The resin slugs are then removed from the reinstalled connection. Moreover, all the coupons that are cut from the liner are used as the reopening of the lateral connection that needs to be retrieved from the sewer.

Cleaning the sewer

The sewer is cleaned by the use of a hydro jetting method. The technicians insert the jet and connect it to the head as they control the water pressure of the machine. In this process, the technicians need to be careful in control the backward and forward motion.

Final inspection of the sewer line

This is where the video camera inspection is done. It is a process that should be done before the lining of the sewer is prepared. The roots and dirt are not allowed in the pipe surface.

Taking the measurements of the Perma-liner

The measurement of the Perma-liner and the pipe that will be inflated are accurately measured. The calibration tube has to be 1 foot long that the perma-liner.Its actual length need to be 27.

Removing the air from the Perma-liner pipe

This is achieved by a vacuum manfold. At this point, there are no air pockets that can be inside. This will help in keeping the resin harder hence making the fiberglass strong.

Connecting the head inversion to the first hose inversion

This is the process that involve 2 inversions i.e. an inversion for the hose hold and the other one for hose house perma-liner.They all require to be 90 degrees.

After mixing and pouring the resin into the perma-liner,the shooting of the Perma-liner into the sewer line is conducted

The gauge is then adjusted in delivering the required amount of pressure before shooting the calibration tube into the Perma-liner

The calibration tube is removed by a pull tape.
